Virtual Sits

We meet each Sunday from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m.

Our weekday sits are temporarily on hold.

Outdoor Sits

Again this summer (2022) NBMC folks are invited to attend meditation sits at the Japanese Garden at Carleton (behind the Faculty Club and Watson Hall, near 2nd St. and Maple).  Sits will be Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:00 – 5:30, beginning 5/31.

While these sits are generally very lightly attended, they provide an opportunity for some of us to meditate together during the week and  typically some folks stay a bit later or come a bit earlier to visit with Sangha friends.

It will be very informal.  There will not necessarily be anyone present for every sit, i.e. there is no one signed up to “open”, ring the bell, or guide the sit.  If newcomers want to come early for some meditation instruction, or if there are questions or suggestions, please contact: Sam Demas (sdemas@carleton.edu) , Fred Howe (Howe.fred@gmail.com), or Pamela Martin (Martinline307@q.com).
